I'm starting to organise a series of competitions for the UK pilots with the aim to have a team for the World Air Games in 2005. Now the AA rules can be found on my WEB site, does anybody have any comments? So far quite a few UK pilots have gathered together so I know there is enthusiasm. The first comps will be more get-togethers to discuss airframes and schedules, music and judging... a central location is being looked at. It would be nice to travel across to Europe and fly on a casual and comp basis too. All is being organised for next year. Just wanted to give anybody a chance to say anything or spread the word. I know this forum isn't such a central for UK flyers but its a good start. Can anybody recomend any forums I could post as well?

Try the UKRCAF ... www.rcaircraft.info ... i'm certainly interested , although being only 14 I think I'd have difficulty getting across Europe as my family aren't very supportive when it comes to comps!
Could you please define 'Artistic Aerobatics' for me??
Thanks...

Anyway, I'd also be interested, but of the 20 or so patternish guys in Ireland, only a handfull would seem interested....

Anybody seen the ZN Line Synergy 90 3D?? IS it really just like €500 ARF?

I've seen just about every AA plane on the market now, the Synergy is a good design, however it is becoming the norm to 'modify' your own at the moment.... the Synergy 140, the Evolis, etc etc... After all the Majestic is a modified Caprise. Thanks for your input, there are some 30 flyers registred in the UK now, from Top Pattern to Show or Exhibition. The link with Europe is more for us....they are very organised already with teams forming around many many enthusiats. if you look you will see most of the worlds top 10 are flying AA. Have a look at the WEB site. We will get a greater indication of the new designs after the Japanese Air Pagaent, which averages 100,000 spectators and is an awesome competition for models. It is the AA event of the year. CPLR will be up against Quiqui, Hyde and all the old crowd to reagain his crown?
