RE: I need to lighten my f90
CF landing gear and tube will only save a few oz--will not accomplish what most people are trying to do.
80% of airframes are coming in about 1 pound heavier than advertised, so try to think of the plane as a F120 and not a F90. With 1100 inches of wing area this plane flies great at 10 to 10.5 pounds so power it accordingly.(something that can generate at least 14 pounds of thrust).
This plane is more of a scale type plane and will not float quite like a Mayham or UCAN or Harrier(scale planes just don't have the wing loading). That being said, it is still extremely capable and built very well and light for a scale looking plane.

Well Canadian_Eh is over today and we did some work on his funtana. We ended up adding an ounce instead of lightening because we had to lateral balance it. Doh! And please, for anyone reading this, I would hate to see another poor sucker use an Super tiger 90 on this plane. It's pathedic.

CF gear would shed a couple ounces...No spinner, Take off wheel pants.... Hmm Smaller light battery. Smaller fuel tanks... etc etc..
