Default Central hobbies control rods

I am just getting ready to build up my rods. I am going to use the JB weld as recommended by central hobbies. I am just wondering if you guys have any suggestions about making the best bond bettween rod and the rod end??? Also someone told me that I need to take percations when I cut the rod (I think so it does not fray) ANy help would be great.

Bill, Clean the inside of the pushrod with a pipe cleaner and alcohol before gluing. When I cut the CF rods, I wrap the area to be cut with masking tape and use a dremel cut off wheel. I have had good results with this method.........Jerry

The dust (which is not dust its actually small carbon fibers) do not breeath it in your body cannot expell it like fiberglass. I wear a mask and gloves..
