any one putting one together . putting a saito 82a their is not enough room to mount moter on moter box if you center moter on cross lines . are you guys mounting sideways or inverted .thanx

Just put the mounts as high up on the firewall as you can. We all had that some problem and that is what the mfg recommends. Mount it side ways or inverted. I did mine sideways.

I think i am going to mount it inverted, with the moter inverted the thrust line will be the same as the horizontal line on the moterbox then I have the room to center the moter on the vertical line. it just seems that this was the way it shuld be ,anyone try it this way?

I have a Saito .91 that I would like to try in this plane. Will it work? Has anyone done this?

Saito 91 is fine for this plane. I have one and a YS 63 is a little low on power. The Saito 91 would be great. It will end up at around 6 pounds plus an ounce or so.
