Default Will this work good?

I just got a crashed plane from my friend that has a .40 sized engine in it. The plane is made from Thunder Tiger and it is a trainer. I was wondering how well a .40 sized engine will work in the modeltech magic. Or is there any other plane that will work well with this setup. Thanks

Should be ok, it will fly, but is not going to real spectacular with just a .40 A Magic needs a good sized 4stroker to really become fun (.60 to .90)

Ya, I agree with you. Is there any other planes that will 3D with this setup?

It will 3d with that setup, you wont rocket out of hovers but use a 12.25x3.75 from apc and you will get plenty of performance in a magic.

O OK, what about servos? I have a bunch of Futaba S3004's laying around. I might need something stronger though.

You dont need high dollar servos on a magic. Throw some cheapo stuff in there and have some fun.

I agree, 3004s should work fine for a magic(that's what I used on mine) . I don't know of any 3d models that would be great with a 40, but I just may not have seen them myself(might be out there somewhere)
