Iv got a bunch of s3003 ans3001 servos hanging around and wanted to know If these would be sufficiant for a 60 size plane. My 3003 servos are all fairly new and the 3001 servos have abount 2 years of flight in a raptor 30 heli. I don't want to risk my new plane with these crappy servos! What servos should I run, preferably not to expensive.
Thanks

guess I'm lost ,in one sentence the servos are fairly new, next sentence they are crappy. If servos are crappy then trash them,if good then in a standard size 60 plane and ave. sport flying then your good?servos are ok.

i run 3004 servos on 5cells.fast strong and cheap.i think 60 size would be the biggest plane i would use them on.as long as the speed is under 100mph you should be fine.

the 3001s are easily powerfull enough in a 60 or even a 120 sized plane at 3.5 kgs, the 3003s are slightly faster but are not ball raced. Ive used and seemed then used on hundreds of 60 sized models with no problems..
