I know you ruled out profiles but I have to say the OMP 65" Yak is a blast with this engine. If you find something good though, let me know cause I have a spare YS 110 and wouldn't mind something different....

I go the Harrier with a YS110, its nuts ... totally fun. I also used to fly the F90 and I would say the F90 is also very nice. Another good plane would be perhaps something like the WM Extra 300 60 ... my pal flew my Fliton Extra 330 and says the WM Extra flies like the Fliton! The YS will be great fun, you have an aerobatic 3D plane.

Any ideas for a plane for a YS 110? I have ruled out profiles, the H9 Funtana and Showtime.

None scale lite 3D cheep plane--3D Mayhem.
Scale expensive plane on the upper limit of the 110-- think about the UL Giles. I would wait to see if they are really coming in as lite as the F90, but if they are and you can move the wing back enough to get it to balance without adding extra weight then it should come in at 9.5 pounds and if you are in a good region for power than it would be a darn good plane.
--Of course, the 68" EF YAK. They should be in again soon?

I'm scratch building an Ultimate from the goldberg plans. I scaled it up by 5% and I'm going to try to keep it under the 8 lbs that kit is suppose to weigh. We'll see how it turns out. Building is going slow between grad school, thesis, STOP class for speeding ticket and family, not too much time to build. I'll keep ya posted on it though. I'm not even a biplane fan but I just love the Ultimate!

I saw Kyle W flying a showtime in a video on another site today and it really peaked my interest, of course with Kyle flying ANYTHING looks fantastic.. What is it about the plane that you dont like? Im really wanting an EF Yak but they are impossible to get. Im down to 3 options now and I intend to use the YS 110. The 3D Bipe, Showtime or EF YAK. I have a friend that is building the 3D Bipe right now, Im sure I will get to test it, it could end up being the one.

I dont like the side force generators, even if they work very well, I dont like the looks of them, and figured the plane justs flys average without them. I have a toc aviation edge pro, but decided to get a plane with a little more fuse to it.

Try a 66" Edge of Extra from here:-
http://www.vectorflight.com/
Amazing value for money. Perfect match for that engine. See the many threads here about them.

The only ones I have any experience with that aren't already mentioned are the Mayhem and the Ultra Stick Lite. The YS flys them both good.
