I read all the descriptions of waterfalls and I can't get a good one going. You know, when the plane seems to rotate around the wings spar.
I tried:
From a hover, full down, full throttle.
Juggling throttle.
Flapperons, spoilerons
All I can get is a series of very tight outside loops as the plane descends
not that graceful rotation around the spar.
I have a Morris Knife and a Global Freestyle both with plenty of power and throw.
Any suggestions???

I like to do the Waterfall by entering it like a tail slide. Do it high to start. I pull vertical at a low power setting. I use only a click or two of throttle to give the tail authority for corrections. The plane will slow to a stop and then try to tail slide. The instant I see almost zero airspeed I push 3D down elevator and give power. At the point where the plane is almost stopped (not actually motionless) it becomes weightless for a moment and will waterfall much easier than from a hover. Check the CGs and throws and just keep on flying. I've seen many ways to Waterfall. It looks good immediately following a Wall. I once saw a Roll to inverted, followed by what looked to be the first 1/4 of an outside loop the Waterfall. I love to do the Waterfall I first described here, just following a vertical takeoff. That usually gets a wow.

Once you add the down elevator and power do you keep the power constant as the plane rotates or do you have to burb/juggle the throttle with each rotation?
Thanks for the help

After the first initial flip which I usually do from a hover or slight tailslide as above you must cut the power back every time as the nose just goes over the top, gravity will help flop the nose over very tightly, then as the nose comes down pour on full power to get it back over the top, repeat as above and steer with rudder

Yup, cut power to 1/4 (or so depending on how much power you have) and let gravity pull the nose down after the first rotation. When you add power also controls how tight the Waterfall will be. If you add it a bit later, the plane will take a bit longer to rotate and the manuver opens up to a "swooping" type of Waterfall. If you want a quick and tight Waterfall, then get into the power just as the planes nose nears straight down and it whips the tail around faster.
