Default help me with my next build

I want to do a small 3d plane like a Sig something extra or TH uproar. maybe a GP dazzler tell me the pros and cons of each or another suggestion. just finishing my extra 300 and want a winter project. I want a kit, not the arf.

Don't think you will be happy with the Something extra or Dazzler unless you are a very outstanding 3D'r. A Banshee or U Can do would be much better, available kits? The Something Extra is ok rudder authority lacking, the Dazzler, pure junk in my book, but to each their own. Look for something designed for 3D.

There are a few small profiles out there that are awesome, even though you didn't mention profiles. Maybe a Taco? It'll be hard to beat a profile on 3-d. After you have one, you'll want another. These are kits I believe.

Hey there

I see you are looking for a good indoor kit to build. I believe I have just the thing for you.

I have developed and refined this kit to be the unlike anything you have seen before.
It is versatile. It is Multitasking, it is high performance from a foamy, it is designed to look sleek and fast and mean, Simply put.... It's truly Unique and designed to tailor to nearly all flying styles. From 3D, Sport, aerobatic, pylon racing, even a slope glider version; all this is possible from one plane! You may ask what makes it different other than the what I mentioned. It's wings are interchangeable and it has full flying wing(s). Main wing and Elevator are on a pivoting axis.
The main wings slide out of the carbon spar in seconds. I sell wing kits for $10.00 extra so you can have a different airfoil to suit your needs, I.E. RG-14, RG-15, MH-22, Full Symmetrical (Fat) or just go with the flat plate. The kit comes with two wings sets in case you wish to build an airfoiled wing so you have the top and bottom wing surfaces.

I call this plane the.... "NANO SHARK"

Please see my website: http://www.nanoplanes.net/product_nano_shark.html

it seems that some people's first response or initial feeling is doubt of whether this can even fly.... But let me tell you, It fly's like no other! "Roll rates on the Racing airfoil are Insane!"

check it out... I am sure you will like it!

UM ,, none of the 3 he mentioned are indoor planes

i agree with second post,

there is a major shortage of 3Dable kits , most have to be modded for 3d with larger control surfaces.. i wish someoneone would come out with a line of 3Dable kits.. im getting tired of the quality of some of these ARFS, also i would like to do my own schemes too..

I have a dazzler, its a nice aerobatic plane, but not a 3D. If you want a true 3D plane go www.ohiomodelplanes.com
Yes... they are ugly planes, but with awsome 3d performance

I am having a pretty cool kit built for me right now...its a Edge 540 hybrid from OMP. Half profile, Half fatty, all bad @$$. The builder says that the instructions arnt right in certain places but it hasnt posed a problem yet. Its a 50cc sized plane. I needed something small enough to transport but big enough to draw some wow factor while 3D'ing.
I held the rudder of this thing up next to a 40% Carden Edge and its close to being the same size!!! [X(]

Thanks for the replies. a freind at the field 3ds fine with his uproar, the little i flew it, i was kinda impressed but i didnt get a good trial. i lost my U can do earlier this summer...my 13 year old cousin midaired me. My u can do had a million flights on it. ill do another one sometime, but i want a winter project, i really enjoy building and want that to passify my cravings over the winter. it gets cold up here, but we still fly. the motors dont run to well when it dips below 0. i see a lot of guys here on rcu have the Sig Something Extra. maybe some of those guys could chime in. one thing i dont like about the dazzler and uproar is that the wings dont remove. i like to leave my airplanes in the truck, but i dont think i would if the plane stuck up in the back seat...

tell me more about the Taco.....who makes it? ive never done a profile, but would give it a whirl. isnt there one called a burrito too?

For profiles that 3d great see--- http://swanyshouse.com/ . He produces Taco, Burrrito, and Mojo. It sounds like you could appreciate the Mojo 40. I have built all of his planes except the Taco. I must like them.
