What's Wrong With This Picture?
I noticed a few things that struck me. The cameraman has a pretty good timing, and the camera has very fast speed. This plane is more dynamic at the moment that it appears.

If you look slightly above the nose cone to the right a tad bit something else was caught in the picture. Almost looks like a space ship.

Well, to be honest with you, the thing that first strikes me when I see this shot is, like drumbum says, the thrust in water is offset. But it's more than pitch (elevator) going on. It was doing a pretty quick torque roll, descending pretty quickly, and I gave a burst of throttle when the shot was taken. So the thrust in the water is more than what you'd see for a static hover.
The rudder did get wet on a next flight, video:

It has APC 16x6 prop. I think the reason you don't see the prop is that it's revving higher during the pull-out phase.
The letters on the wing is the vinyl lettering I got from Staples.
UCD on floats, as wrong as it seems, actually makes the plane fly better than on landing gear, in some ways. It snaps much better now, and waterfalls are much tighter.
Did anyone figure out who the pilot figure is?
The only photo editing done to this picture was to shrink it to 1/2 the original resolution.

Your UCD looks harder to hover with the floats on. Nice video. Makes me what to floats on mine except for there aren't too many lakes around.
