Was the 5th flight on the twist. Pulled out of a slopy hover and was just a few clicks over idle inverted over the runway and went into a wall and wings just folded up on me. Had an OS FX .46 so few clicks is not to much speed. Got to hand it to the covering, the wings stayed onto the fuse till it hit inverted into the growed. Motor gone, bat gone, not tested the Rx but it might have lived. Amazing how much dmg can be done to this thing from a 10 foot drop.

Sounds like you got a bad plane. I have two of them and have never had any problems with the wings. The fuse has always been the week point. I cart wheeled one on landing and the wings are intact but the fuse did not make it. Sorry hear about your loss.

I had a similar wing failure with a UNCAN DO 46. I did a tail slide out of a hover then flipped to a nose down position and BOOM-lost the left half of the wing and that was the end of one UCANDO. Great Planes was nice enough to replace it. You may contact Horizon and explain your problem.

Call horizon hobby up and tell them what happened, if you have witnesses that will help. They might send you a new arf.
This looks a manufacturing problem; You didn't crash it before right? I.E. damage wings in a previous flight before this happend?

Nope, never crashed it before, had a few ruff landing but the nylon bolts just gave and there was no dmg. Emailed horizon but if thay dont do any thing, I have planes for this thing. Center of the wing is is 100 pieces and a few spars on both sides have cracks, front of the fuse is gone. Motor looked worse than it really was. Cleaned up the dirt and the crack in the case is just under the carb and not that bad. Hit inverted and the carb mounting just cracked. Some JB weld and its gtg. Other than that this plane ok lol.
Think im gona do some cutting and fitting and make this thing into a Twist profile just for kicks. Dont look like its gona be hard. Just need a few pics of the front of an uncovered twist to speed up the building. I think with some balsa and ply I can put this thing on a diet and trim out the fatty body.
Have an Enya 46 4strok and an mds .48 waiting for a job. If i can trim out a lot of the fat the Enya may just fit the bill for a it.
Now. To find a profile homer. Thats gona be the hard part.
