Hi,
Trying to make up my mind between these three, ZDZ super 80, DA 100 or 3W 106.
I'm leaning towards the ZDZ but would appreciate some input from current owners.
The rest of the set up so far is Hitec 5945"s with SWB control arm's and H9 titanium links on all but the rudder, here I went with a single Hitec 5995TG with a SWB 4" on a Dubro pull pull. Power is a single Fromco 4400 relion going through a smart fly power expander. The ignition Batt is a relion 2200 with a smart fly ignition cut off.
Graphtec landing gear and a Petes carbon fiber spinner.

The 80 would be my recommendation. I you really want to put a 100 on there between the DA and 3W, I would go with the 3W since it has a slight power edge over the DA. If you want THE 100 for the H9 planes, the BME 110 is the way to go. Same weight as the ZDZ 80 and more power than the DA-100. Thie BME will work great on many much larger airplanes as well. Good luck.

Thanks for all the advice, I think the ZDZ has won the toss up. When this is complete I'll post the results.

We have one with a BME 100. It flies great and it has unlimited vertical. I did not have to add any weight to balance it. We have had two BME engines (100 & 44) and both ran better than the DA50 that we had. DA is a good engine and their service is great but don't count out BME!
