Just finished my Funtana 90 recently!
Both the "Master RC Test Pilot" who maidened it and myself have experienced glitching during flight, although so far this has been minimal (thankfully).
I am told that this is most probably caused by the RX antenna which runs down the inside length of the fuselage, parallel to the servo leads, and that my best bet is to run the antenna out the top of the plane and to the tail fin.
My set up is:
YS 110FZ
JR9303
JR NER549X
Hitec HS5645MG (rud.; elev.x2; ail. x2)
JR DS811 (throttle)
JR 5cell 2700 mAh NiMh 6.0v
6.0volt regulator
Fiber-Lite Carbon fiber gear
As Funtana owners know, the rud & elev servo's are mounted in the tail, and I have 18 inch servo extensions running to the RX which is approximately in the middle of the plane, kind of in line with the trailing edge of the main wing. And yes, the antenna runs parallel to these leads, in an antenna tube, out to the rear of the plane.
Anyone else experiencing any similar problems?
I would really rather not run the antenna out the plane if I don't have to, and any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Blessings!
Albert

Yeah I had the same problem with minor glitches because of the aerial antenna routing. I had to move mine outside from the top of canopy to the tail fin and all problems solved.

Mine had no glitches that I'm aware of, but wouldn't range check well till I mounted the antenna on the outside. Some have tried securing the servo leads near the top of the fuse, not in the bottom, where it is the easiest. Too much work for me.
