The specs on the Seagull Models Harrier seem really good for a 3d bird. I have read a lot of post on the bird. I have read some bad, but mostly good. The question I have is the engine for her. I have a Super Tigre 2300 and a Saito 150. Can and would either of the engines work well with the Seagull Models Harrier. if not what is a good 3d plane for the engines I have. I have been looking at the katana , Funtana , funworld, and others.

I flew my Harrier 90 with a TT61 then the ST G90 then the YS110 ... the YS110 is best of course, hence you want an engine which will turn a 16x6 at about 9,500 RPM. You SA150 will me more than happy in that plane and so will the G2300. The G2300 will turn a 18x6. Either engine will be great fun. The SA150 will be lighter though. My balance with the YS110 was just spot on. RX batt was on the aft spa tube.
The Harrier is nice to fly but is not as aerobatic as something like say the H9 ShowTime, the SA150 on that bird is perfect. Saw my pal's with the SA120, that was already good stuff. The F90 is a very nice plane but not as versatile as the ShowTime.

I have the funtana 40. Is the Showtime better at 3D than the funtana 90. I just read alot on the Showtime form and it sounds like a winner and I may just have found the bird I was looking for. I would say that the saito 150 whould be the best because of mounting inverted. Can it be mounted on its side. just seems like the saito would be a cowl full.

I did not take my ST up yet but seeing how my F90 flies and how my pal's ST flies I say the ST is a clear winner. ST being more of a versatile plane. The F90 can perform IMAC bu a floaty version of it, ST will be a winner at IMAC compared with the F90. ST will KE much better too. I wonder why my ST is still in the box after 4 months!!!
