Default The demise of my Funtana 90 ***w/video***

Well I have been cleaning house the past two days with all my planes. One of which was a Funtana 90. This plane is about a year and a half old and has seen better days. Well last week I was training a friend of mine on a buddy box and trying to teach him how to land. Well I guess I didn't instruct very well as he failed to flair for the landing which ripped out the gear and the bottom covering as well as puncturing the wings from the wheel pants. I probably could have fixed this, but the plane was just in pain. So as a final tribute to this plane I epoxied the landing gear block back on and used packing tape to cover the missing covering. And with a video camera in hand and several spectators I gave tribute to one of my first real planes. Thing is I will probably be out this week to buy another as I liked how well this flew. But this video is now my lasting memory to share with all of you... Enjoy!

Surprising the wings held up that well! I would have thought the vertical fin would have collapsed on the first "landing".

Great video. I loved that knife edge pass you made about half way through when that guy said "GEES!".

Again, not working for me. I have no trouble with other movies posted right now--when I right click save target as it does not work either.

Stupid question...what is an .asx file? Really not a problem with my player though, as it will not even let me download the file.

Maybe just to many trying to access it at the same time. I will try again later.

Hey Mugen....... will you be showing us that knife-edge trick soon ? I'd pay to see that. LOL !!!!! just kidding..........

Spratrbo could donate the f90 to a poor child for xmas. Think of all the modeling experience a kid could get putting that jigsaw puzzle back together.

Go into your Windows Media Player and click on Help. Then search for updates. Sounds like you need the newer codecs.

Tried that right away. Have all updates for MP10. Same results on all 3 of my computers and no trouble with other posted videos. Never seen a .asx file before though. Am I really the only one having problems here. That is strange. [&:]
