I need a cool looking scale pilot for my CGM Ultimate but I don't know what the true scale of the model is.

Span is 18.0 feet. Lenth is 21.0 feet.

Empty weight of the Ultimate Dash 10-300 is 1,320 lbs. Since the model weighs 8 lbs, your pilot will need to weight 298 lbs. to be at scale weight. GOOD LUCK!!

But then again, an OS 91 only has 1.6bhp so were lacking a little bit to reach a scale HP of 75hp.

A 54 inch span is 1/4 scale? I thought the full size was bigger.

I know you're kidding, but I thought weight and power scaled by the fourth power for airplane design. That would be 5.16 lb and 1.17 Hp. My model will be 9 lb and 2 Hp. Not too bad.

OK, where can I get a nice looking, pre-painted pilot?

Sorry to say the Real 1/4 scale of a 10-300 is 60.5 inches, for 25% The best ultimate *kit* not arf the r/c world has ever seen would have to be the Barnestormer Models 10-300 Ultimate, its got a 99.99 Percent true scale outline.

Desgined for YS 120/140 4-strokes this plane will do anything you ask it to, mine pictured by my RCU name has been thru countless full Throttle blenders, etc. The hover great and are scale if you wanted to us it for competion scale or areobatics. A Ys120 with a Carbon fiber 18x6 flies this plane like a charm. A Dave Patrick does not come close to this plane in looks or capabilities, you can also ask pittsman on here on RCU, or anyone from Henderson Kentucky.
