Ok guys ive decided to get the goldberg edge 540. here is my proposed setup>
1. OS46AX
2. Hitec 425 flight pack with on hobbico mini servo
3. Top flite 11x4 wood prop
Any suggestions on if this would be for some mild 3-d. I would like to atleast have a solid hovering machine with pull out power. I am just hoping the 46 could carryaround the load.

That Goldberg Edge is a lead sled.If you want to 3D with that 46 go with the new Mojo arf or the Extreme Flight Edge 540t profile. Both these planes are light years ahead of the Goldberg Edge. They are lighter, built better and performance on both is outstanding. As far as servos and prop what you have listed will work.

Edgeman is right, the Goldberg bird is heavy compared to others now available. The Mojo ARF is the most advanced and the newest of ARF profiles and very light.
OS 46 has good power. You can zoom it up by removing the baffle in the muffler or go with a Ultra Thrust muffler.
The wood 11-4............it will depend on how much the planes weighs in the end, however you may want to look into a wide blade prop like what APC has to offer.
What Hobbico servos? Mini servos may work, if they have the torque. For a 3D plane, you want large amounts of throw to direct the thrust and your servos must have the torque. Easy way to increase the torque, run a 6 volt battery.
