hi
i would like to slow my km down a bit on the landings i have an "optic 6 tx" and there seems to be two options for doing this one is called airbrake setup using "CAMB" airbrakes by flpping a switch to raise both flaperons{ailerons}and the other is "FLPN" flaperon mixing uses two ailerons to individually control two ailerons, combining the aileron function with the flap function. which is the best one to use??hope someone can help me?thanks

the camber feature is used on sailplanes... and actually isnt how you say. camber is actually like reflex. it has to do with controlling the speed and thermaling characteristics..
the feature you are refering to is called CROW...which is both ailerons up and flaps down....speed brakes. also designed for sailplanes. (you can to just about straight down and not gain a whole lot of speed...pretty cool) by the way, if you raise the ailerons repectively, they are refered to as spoilerons.
The feature you want to use is flaperons. in cases where you have an oversized ailerons and no flaps, you can mix in flaperons. basically it will lower both ailerons to act as flaps. plus, you will still have roll control as the flaperons would still move in respect to how much "flap" you have put in.
I love computer radios, and the optic is an excelent choice both for aircraft and glider. i hope you have the spectra module! i use mine all the time....none of my relatives planes are safe! the next thing they know, im flying there plane! ha ha ha. locking the trasmitters in the truck no longer works! what freq. did you say that was on? lol.
Flaperons are fun, but remeber the plane will still stall so be careful with it. the aileron responce is different to. just be careful.
