I have seen guys torque rolling and the plane spins in circles.
540 edges and 300's .MY question is mine is a 330L3d. 4.5 lbs
supertiger 46 12x25x3.75 apc. It will torque roll with ease BUT
it will not spin. it stays whatever direction the torque roll start's.
If the top is faceing you it stays facing you. WHY don't it spin
just curious.

If its not spinning its not torque rolling.
Sounds like you are hovering.
Most planes need to be slightly tilted on their backs to get them to spin around for a TR.
Keep at it and find the sweet spot. Once you know where it is you can get it to TR more consistently.

I've not flown this plane, but typically with the smaller planes it's due to not having the motor completely vertical, and/or thrust angle probs. Be careful!! On smaller planes, when you do get them in to a true/perfect torque roll, they typically turn very fast.

I have this one with a Jett 76 on it. It will hover fine, and when it starts torque rolling, it does it very fast. If I don't want it to torque roll, I just keep nudging the nose forward enough to keep it from pointing straight up and / or slightly on it's back. As long as it is slightly nose forward, it will just hang there and hover. I'm not sure exactly what you were referring to, but I hope this helps.

fun flys dont like to tr. the wing is soooo big. but laying it on its back does help a little. i went to a smaller prop to get the r's up and it torks a little easyer. not sure why. i would think the other way but thats what i found. if theres any wind it doent like to tork around. the wind grabs the wing and keeps it in one spot.
