are these really needed...the manual shows to use them, but all the pics of this plane in flight do not....it looks to me that the stab should be strong enough without them....

I will put them on mine, too many stories of broken stab lying around on those 3D planes. Plus, my guess is that it will require some weight on the back to 3D correctly.

Default Flying wires????

Thought this was a full flying vertical stab (ie. rudder)??? Flying wires go under the stab to the fuse?

manual shows the wires from top of fuse to bottom of fuse...just not sure if they are needed...there seems to be plenty of bond surface on the fuse for the stab looks to be 1/4 inch per side full width of stab...any current flip fliers have any input?

also i don't see what would be wrong with mounting saito 72 inverted to reduce having to butcher up cowl so much...any input on this?

I've always wondered about my Topcap. When it's in a harrier, the elevator shakes like the dickens. One of these days, it will probably give out and I'll regret not installing wires or something. If the manufacturer recommends them on yours, I'd go ahead and install them.

tower hobbies sells this plane...towerhobbies.com ..but the best pics were posted here on this site of the plane prebuilt.....kyosho.com has a nice pic of in-flight...i do not see the flying wires on any of the in-flight pics...that is why i am not sure if they are needed are not...but the fact that the flying "control surfaces" are more than half of the flying "surface areas" on this plane it may not be a bad idea to reinforce the horizontal stab...what gets me is the fact that there is no vertical stab (other than the fuse) all rudder....and that is where i would think the majority of stress would be...
