Hi all,
I have a spare 46fx that I want to use for a 3d airplane. This will be my first attempt at 3d'n. What is the best option to consider (kit or RTF) for this engine size. I can use a spare OS 70 four stroke also, in case 4 strokes are better for 3d. My main aim is to torque roll. I am looking at something which is cheap and a quick build. If these engines are not good enough, then I also have a OS91 four stroke and a OS 91fx that can be used. I guess the bigger the plane the easier it gets...but more expensive too...I looked at the aeroworks edge 60 ARF, but shipping to india costs more than the plane itself...
Do we need special servos for this purpose. I only use futaba 148's and 3001's.
I can torque roll well on G2, but i know its a different story on the field...just wanna try the real thing!
thanks,

Get a MAGIC ARF form model tech.
Sell for $99.
In fact, get two at that price!
This is the easiest plane I have torque rolled or hovered.
Mine has a os .46 LA with an APC 12.25 X 3.75 prop.
15% byron fuel.
Will torque or hover the entire tank of fuel.
JR 517 standard servos all around.
Flat 600 mah battery.
Weighs 4 lbs, exactly.
Send me an E-mail and I will send you a copy of a video my frined took yesterday of it flying.

Its hard to get Morris kits in India. We get GP kits easily. Any GP kits or ARF;s that fit the bill? There is a BalsaCraft 3d Extreme available for a 46Fx...any info on this one?
Thanks

The Hangar 9 Pizazz is a great plane. i have a saito .72 with all standard radio gear. i've heard that is performs well with a .46 as long as it has the right prop. but the bigger the better for this one. though i think the .91 is a little much.
hope this helps
