After owning the 29% Edge and ordering the 31% Edge-you might say I like their planes. The January 2003 issue of Model Aviation has a very interesting article/interview on how the company got started and how they got so sucessful(page 109). Great story! Check it out!

When I saw the thread I thought of the article, its pretty cool, and how they tell you that the Chinese are superior builders, i didnt know it would take 1 YEAR FOR THE WOOD to be usable for there planes!

Quote--i didnt know it would take 1 YEAR FOR THE WOOD to be usable for there planes!--That must be why it is taking so long to get my 31% :>)

I would love to know who the TOC pilots were who snubbed them. Glad to see they had the good taste not to blast anybody.

I haven't bought anything from them yet, but they sure seem like nice Helpful guys when I call with questions

. I'm thinking of buying the 31% edge. Anybody have one yet? It seems like just the right size.

I'd like to know who the TOC guys were that snubbed them too. I really thought everybody in this hobby was cool. To bad success goes to some peoples heads. Don't you just love the people that are really good at what they do, and still have the presents of mind to be humble. What a gift. And what a curse to be just the opposite

Maybe it's good to take this as a lesson, and no matter how good you are, don't forget to be humble and help others.

Thanks

Default AW and Rocco!!

I called up AeroWorks and had to order a ARF fuse for mine, as I unforutnately dropped it in from 75 feet. Rocco called me back with some questions, and I gave him answers. He asked if he could call me back, and obviously I said yes. It wasn't 3 hours later, he had a fuse coming to me!!! Now, all I need is wheel pants.

Those fellows at AW are certainly in a class of their own, and setting the STD for the GS ARF's, if there are any others out there.
I'm extremely pleased with my ARF, and will continue to "wring it out" until I get the funds to go 40%.

AeroWorks---- Job well done!!! Keep it up!!!

I am thinking about buying their 29% as a "knock around" plane and as a backup to my 35% Carden. I have called them and asked ?'s and got some pretty helpfull answers. Kevin and Rocco sure are nice guys.

Default :)

Hubb, that was the first Edge I had this year. I'm on #2 now, and don't worry, Mikey's prop is fine!! I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to cut my $90 alum spinner to fit the MSC prop.

Thanks for the idea in a previous EM about wheel pants. I'm on it!!

See ya!!

Chris~

PS I have it on video! Happened in June. Had #2 flying by July 1!!!!
