Does anyone know when the next shipment is due? I checked several online sites including Tower Hobbies & it looks like they stopped listing it!

Same here, my LHS got 2 in last Wednesday. They were on order for 2 months. I got mine and I'm happy.

Still waiting on my U C 3D from Tower, they said late nov. What engine are you guys planning on using?

I have an OS .91 Surpass II I was going to use, however the majority of the posts favor the Saito 1.00. I'm shopping around for one now. It looks like the best deal is from Chief Aircraft. They're selling it for $260 including shipping (as per their emailed specials for November).

There's a fellow with a NIB one for sale @ $180 in the swapshop. I was going to take it . .

BTW whenever I get one I'm going to use the YS .91AC that's sitting on my shelf.

I'm using a YS 91. I have a Saito 100, but I'm saving it for my Graupner Show flyer, which is even lighter than the U C3D.

I had my LHS order one for me,, took only 10 days and its now on my bench,, not sure why its taking so long for some places and not others?

I contacted Great Planes yesterday and they informed me that the U-Can-Do airplanes are in stock and available for shipping. We ordered direct. Hope this helps.

I'm planning on purchasing a Saito 100 also. I checked out Chief Aircraft and they list $279.99 for the 100. Where did you see an advertised price of $260.00?

When you're at Chiefaircraft.com at their RADIO CONTROL home page, at top of page sign-up for the email specials. They'll email you a large list of items on special. The Saito 1.00 was listed for $260.

Planebender, you ordered from Great Planes directly. How much did it cost?

I think what's happening is that there are a *lot* of back-orders for this plane. I don't think the shipment(s) are late, they just sell-out (fulfilling back-orders) before there are any left. I placed one on back-order (from Tower) around late October and had it within a month-- even though they never *actually* came into stock at Tower.

Just a guess on my part...

Got mine today from LHS, they had three in stock! Gonna make it my winter project. I'm adding lots of upgrades and want to take my time! Putting an OS 108 in mine, 9001's 3001's and a 9151 on rudder.
