Hi Guys,
I have been looking at a lot of pics of the edge and the extra And they both look quite similar except for the LE being straight in the edge. Is there any noticeable difference betn the two in flying characterstics and appearance.
What other differnces do you know like in wing placement or elevator or the rudder
Sunil

The Extra in my opinion is the better design. The Edge excells at some thing, but for 3D and certainly IMAC, the Extra takes the lead.... for IMAC the straight leading edge is difficult to adjust to, and therefore it's difficult to fly straight patterns.
Sure they're both good, each has its own advantages though.
I don't have a decent Extra, and my H9 Edge isn't really anything better than rubbish... so somebody who has a decent model of each should have a better idea.

I think its a matter of opinion and the type of flying style you have. Some of the best pilots fly extras while the others fly edges and some fly Caps. I have never flown one but the Katana sure looks like a sweet flying plane too.

Most of the time to me it seems more down to the quality and design of the kit/artf that has more influence on how it goes than the plane it is based on.
