Start at the spar and go from there. CG should be set on a 3D plane by the pilot. Throws?????????? I may not be the right person to ansewer that one, I would ask how much can you get? 70+ degrees?

I would agree for 3D you're going to want as much as you can get. For mine, I built larger control surfaces as well. Then I used a 3D flight mode to access those throws. this allowed me to use normal throws for more traditional maneuvers
