RE: SERVO TORQUE ON A 33-35% RUDDER
Yeah the Seiko is great for a 40% plane. I used to run two HS 5925's on my 33%. I stripped them in about 40 flights and went to JR 8611A's. If you want to go Hitec then the 5955 or 5945 would be the way to go. Setting up your servos correctly so they dont fight each other is also important. A couple of servos fighting each other can drain your batteries very quickly.

you might want to use a bellcrank to take all the pressure off the single output shaft. 2 5955's would be a little much but that is what I would do, with a bellcrank.
seiko? are you crazy?

It depends on who you talk to.
QQ recommends at least 500 ounces of torque for his 102" Yak. for example.
IMO, it is heavily dependant on weight. I would not trust a single 5955 on anything more than around 25 pounds dry weight.
I will be going with a single 5955 on my QQ 102", though, since it will be in the 23 pound range.
