anyone own one of these or seen one? how was the quality? I know KMP has had some issues in the past, just checking to see if this design is pretty solid. Thanks!

Hi Guys,
Just recieved my Katana this evening from my LHS. It looks good so far I will post some pics and weights tomorrow. Quality is very good covering is Ultracote and it seems light enough. The wing size is the same as the EMHW Funtana pro. The fuse is a little larger though. I,ve got a YS 160 that I picked up for it as well so it should go pretty good. The stated wing loading at 5kg is 17oz sq ft which is incredibly low so it should 3D very well with a good power plant.
thx Dave

HI Guys:
I'm glad to see the interest in this plane is growing. When we designed the plane we stretched the fuse by about 2 inches more then scale. The extra length makes it handle superbly. I am using an OS 1.60 in mine and it will hover at about half throttle plus a click or two. I'm using standard Hitec Ballbearing servos and a Hi Torq (pull-pull) system for the rudder. Even though my company specializes in WWII planes I still love to hang a plane by its prop once in while. The Katana 2M will always be ready to go in my hanger... guaranteed. If anybody is ever travelling up thorugh these neck of the woods drop by I will take you flying and you can give mine a try.
Cheers[8D],

Just accuired one used, putting a Moki gas 30cc motor in it..with a KS cannister...Fuselage is cannister ready and it was a really easy install...
It feels really light and I bet it fles light to...
Not flown it yet but soon..
