Wing tubes in the UK
I have had a quote from Probuild but they only do carbon and it worked out over £100 - $150 for both the wing and tail. Any other people over here? or should I order from the USA?

What are you going to use them in? If its large scale then try one of the manufacturers here in the uk such as Glens... if I rember rightly they use them in the larger CAPs... aluminium... nice and stong... but heavy!

Sorry Guys I should have said. They are for a own design Velox Revolution 30% Scale 88" span. Engine is a Mackay 75 (which is a Moki 75cc Gas engine)
I am looking for 1 1/2" x 36"to 48" for the Wing and 7/8" x 25" to 30" for the tail

Hi,
I would say talk to Glen of Glens Models, he does the (or at least they look like) Gator wing tubes which are an aluminium tube with red phenolic outer sleeves.
The ones i know he does are for a 30% cap...not sure wether he does smaller ones....what model is it for?

Any pics of the revolution?? i've been interested in a REV . 2 for a while now.
There's some basic info on my website at www.aeroforce.co.uk about it in the directory section.
Glens models should help, otherwise try Ratby Aeroplanes, IAD, Aviation Techincs possibly.... YT International may have something.

Try Weston UK, they were stocking great quality carbon tubes and sockets, I would of thought far cheaper than Probuild.
