Default Help with that pesky elevator . . . .

OK, I can't get my TopCap to elevator. I figure that I'm not entering the move correctly. I tried slowing down to a crawl and feeding in up elevator, but at some point the nose drops and it just flies away. I tried feeding in power at the point JUST before the nose drops, but this results in very slow forward flight (Harrier) and it kinda porpoises a little bit. My GP 60 size extra is the same way. I can get it to do a pretty good Harrier, but it wont drop into the elevator. HELP!!

BTW, you should see the Extra do a full power blender. I'm surprised the fuse doesn't snap in half!!!!!

"Full Power Blender"? Is there any other way! :-) Oh wait, I forgot about the cracks in my Cap after doing that.

I assume that will help me keep the nose up?

Sounds like not quite enough elevator throw and/or rearward enough CG.

When you have enough throw and proper CG, one or two clicks too much throttle will be your Harrier, three or four clicks too much throttle will be a slow inside tumble/flop.

Spoilerons will help stop the wing rock...To avoid over-correcting the occasional rocking, I also flip to low rate aileron when I'm coming all the way down to the ground.
