Default Powerlines Edge .40 Tricked out

Well here goes with my first post and pictures of my new powerlines edge 540 .40 size. I have 3010 futaba servos on the rudder and elevator, 3004's on the ailerons, a hitec HS 81 on the throttle a home made on board glow driver and custom graphics from Bad Brad Graphics. I've been going through some of the threads that a few of you guys posted to help with the building process, so now it's time to show you what I learned please be gentle.

First off welcome to RCU!!!

And the EDGE? Gosh just straight up beautiful. I love the graphics, it makes it look like its going 100 MPH just sitting on the ground.. So how does it fly? Keep up the awsome work and update us on the flight!!!

Haven't yet made the maiden flight it's been kinda breezy with cross winds to our field [:@]hoping to maybe bring her up this weekend if the bunny rabbit lets, as for the engine it's powered with an OS fs 91 turning an apc 15x4 prop, weight wise I haven't gotten around to it yet guessing she's around 5-6lbs hopefully on the lower end and thanks for the complements .

The "wrong" engine isn't what I would call it, its a fine engine, but a Saito .91 or even 1.00 would (I think, don't kill me if I'm wrong) be lighter than the O.S....Oh and more powerful. That engine will be fine, don't get a complex or anything

Yeah, a saito would have been really nice but I was kinda limited on funds at the time, robbed the 3004,s from one plane and the receiver, the OS was bought second hand from a flying buddy in our club, thanks for the suggestion though I'll keep that in mind on further endeavors. Still fairly new to this and not quiet so knowlegdeable of these things, but learn fast .

Hey SPFLY40, The Edge looks great! Look foward to seeing the maiden flight. Maybe Saturday? I'll be at the field Sat afternoon to get more flights in on the Cap-X.

I completely understand fly, I'm 17 and got a part time job and work around high school to pay for planes! haha....Very nice job, and the engine will be fine, you should love the plane too.
