Now I'm not trying to start a war or put anyone down or cause trouble but........
I was just reading the diablotin review here at RCU. The author deserves credit as he did a fine job....BUT....why let someone who has never even hovered a plane review a 3D plane?? The build section really gives you a lot of good info...but if I'm going to buy the plane, I want to know if it flies good 3D! harriers...elevators...rolling harriers...pop ups...blenders..you know, all the good stuff. Just a suggestion to the RCU staff.

Chris You have a very good point. Noticed the same with the reviews done on all the H9 3rd Scales In one review they state they think the plane will do all the 3D maneuvers and the plane was Far beyond his abilities as a Aerobatic Pilot. This type of a review basically says Hay it Flies ???? Kind a like a Reporter on the 5 O clock news saying there was a fire today!

I must say, excellent review. I did enjoy reading it. Granted, I don't think I could write the article as well as it was done. I sure would like to be the pilot on a review like that, however I would have to tell my impressions of it. I do agree, it would be nice to have some of the 3D capabilities of the plane.
One thing you have to keep in mind, 3D is at the far limits of radio control flight. In the percentage of pilots, 3D may be in the lowest percentile. So, for the other 97% of the pilots who don't want to torque roll or think a blender is used for making a malt, the review was right on target.
I have been posting some of my finding of the Flip 3D and recently posted a quick flight review on it, http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...08&forumid=230
Not at the caliber of writing as the Diabolitan review, however from a 3D pilot perspective..
