Default OS 1.08FSR with UCD-3D ?

Hi all, has anyone tried the OS 1.08FSR on a UCD-3D ? Planning to install this engine with tank at CG. Will be using Perry V30 pump and Cline regulator. Need to get some advise. Thanks in advance...................

alot
we added like 2 oz. to the tail under the tail wheel
likes that but i dont think u can make it to tail heavy with this wing
a guy has 3 oz on the tail with an os 120 4/s
and it does all the stuff mine does nose heavy not any beter or any worse
hope this helps
dont do harier landings in grass
the tail wheel will grab and the body will break
a guy in the club, his tail wheel snaged in the grass and broke the body in front of the tail serfaces

That may be way to much nose weight for the plane. Mine is nose heavy with an OS 91, I have added 4oz of tail weight to compensate. I would recommend the OS91 for a few reasons. The 91 with a APC 15x4w has all the power you need, mine will pull hard out of a hover. The 91 is lighter and you will have a better flying plane. And lastly, the cost is less than the 1.08. And the cheaper the better since this a plane that will be hanging on the prop overheating and will most likely get banged in to the ground a few times.

Don,

Is that the 91 2 stroke, or 4 stroke? I have an 80 four stroke on mine now, and am debatin about an engine change before I maiden it.

Thanks,
Steve
