Great job Mike, I hope you get a chance to fly it soon. Can you tell me what radio system (battery packs, receiver, etc.) you're using. I will be getting the same plane soon and it isn't equipped with radio gear yet. Thanks and take care.

Cool
Looks good Mike! Damn ain't life good! Looks like the cowl Is the same width as the H9 33% cap cowl (plug cap sticking out). That Is a DA100? Best of luck with the maiden.

very nice, but you shouldnt put it in front of your daughters dollhouse and dollhouse furniture, it makes that plane look reallllly big

Good Luck with the maiden flight,

I am not sure about the weight yet.I only have a digital bathroom scale at the moment, the first time I weighed it it said 25#,I was tickled, the next time was 27,the next was 26,so I need to get a reliable fish scale and try again.I am using Futaba 8uaps,Futaba PCM reciever, and JR 8411's on all surfaces and JR DS811 on throttle. Two Powerhouse 1650mah nimh for flight gear, and Powerhouse 1650 nicd, for ignition.I am also using Powerhouse 22 or 20 awg(I'm not sure) extensions w/gold connections, and JR charge/switches.Yes it is a DA-100.I also used Troybuilt C/F wing tube,LG,and tail wheel assy, and C/F spinner and Mejzlik 27-10 prop.If anyone is considering one of these,I would look at the AW Extra 330,(unless you just gotta have an Edge)I just recieved one and looks like it will be way lighter the the Edge, lightening hole every where. But I know I will love my Edge.

Hi Mike,

Hope you had a successful maiden flight, I haven't bought batteries or receiver(s) for my Edge yet so interested in why you would get (2) Nimh for receiver(s) and then Nicd for ignition, is it better to get Nicd for the ignition battery vs Nimh, also what Futaba PCM receiver are you using and are you only using (1) receiver??? Thanks, Gary
