Robert, are you going with the 2-stroke ?? (just to get the debate going).
If you don't have the DZ yet, have you seen one fly, mine is bought, installed in my airplane, and will be ready to fly by april or may for my next season.

I really dunno....I have an L here, but that is down on power for the new schedules I hear. So a DZ or RX it is. I think though that a DZ it will be, cause its a four stroke, and 2 strokes are not worth.............(I will let your imagination fill in the rest.)
All kidding aside, I really think a dingo.

The only thing that I'll chime in with here in refernce to this "debate" is that I definitely woulndn't take the advice of someone that has never owned a four stroke. Couple that with the fact that this person was just bored and tried to start some form of an arguement and I think it's fairly clear who one should take advice from.

I was only trying to be nice and not start any heat, all of what I said is true. I just was just trying not to make enemies. I am sure we have all seen the videos of the great 3d flying from the guys at 3dbatix I don't see any of them using 4 strokes. THATS WHY PEOPLE AREN'T NICE, FUNK, show a sign of weakness and you'll have someone trying to PREY on you!!!!!! I don't need to own a 4 stroke to know they are OVERPRICED JUNK, I am "SURROUNDED" by them at my flying field. And for the money I don't see anything done with a plane that has a four stroke that I couldn't do just as well if not better if I had a 2 stroke engine in the plane. IS THERE ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE WHO FEELS THIS WAY ????????

Guys, guys... let's not turn this into a argument. Everyone has their own opinions and it really doesn't matter what someone else says. I've used 4 strokes and love them but that doesn't mean everyone will like them too however if your surrounded by them at your own field that should say something.
Overpriced junk is your opinion so leave it at that and say no more... don't encourage others to try and turn this into an argument. Your not gonna make things better, only worse.

Please, everyone calm down! If you don't have anything to contribute to the thread that is worth the time it takes to read, then keep it to yourself.

calm down rajul, we have the right to have fun here, if you don't like our thread stop reading it.
Buz feel free to have an opion but your statement had nothing to do with flying, it wasn't even an opion. It was a statment that asked a question (weather or not I flew) . Also your right I could care less about the workings of the engines I just look at how my plane flies with a particular engine in it. However I have done quite a bit of research on both and I do have basic understandings of both.

kid:
Punctuation?
In my "opion" "your" having problems with spelling and grammar. It must be hard for you to make "statments"
1. This isn't your thread so to bait people for a fight (as you have already done) is immature and selfish. If you want to "have fun" by picking fights with others, start your own thread, hold your breath, and then wonder why you are passing out..
2. You don't even run a 4-stroke so your opinions against them are biased at best.
YOU'RE allowed to have YOUR OPINION about anything and it is welcome in friendly discussion. You need to learn a little respect for others opinions and not take them as attacks against what you think is the best.
You attack others for using or recommending 4-strokes and then attack others for their use of the English Language. It appears to me young man that you have no real knowledge of either.
Now, go find a site about pimples and have all the "fun" you want. Let the adults talk about engines.

Great, Funky old man, jump on the band wagon with attacks about me. Mostly all of my opinions were stated along with facts. If this were a term paper, resume, or a structural analysis I would care about grammar and punctuation a lot more, however it is not. I have written most of these replies in a hurry and yes I have made a few writing mistakes, just like everyone else. You guys call me immature yet this has turned into a public lynching against me. I really could care less, however that pimple joke was really lame. I'll go to a pimple forum if you check out a prostate health forum. Anyways I only attack the little engines, and I also said that I could care less what you guys were flying with, yet every time I check my email someone else is attacking me. O well I guess thats what happens when you can't back up a claim with facts. By the way I am not a little kid, I am a 23 year old Aeronautical Engineering Student at a Major University and pimples are no longer a problem, but thanks for the concern. Till the next attack.

Only 18 references to your self in the last post. Can you say narcissistic? Admit it , the attention is what your really looking for. Well, OK.Here's another way to get attention from this forum. First, get an rc airplane, then go to beginners forum and ask a few legit questions about how to fly. Then some really cool , experienced modelers will give you tons of attention while trying to help you.

This thread was about the use of 4 stroke engines in a 3-D type aircraft. I did give up on that. Thank you for your concern over what and where I spend my time though. Also, thanks for the offer for help.If the opportunity comes up I might give you an E-MAIL.

Kids please, you do realise that everyone that is trying to argue, and look better than the next guy is just embarassing themselves? Either talk about engines, or start another thread, or e-mail each other, or PM each other, and fight about what colour grass should be.
