I agree with Raideron. I am currently using an APC 16.5 X 5W on my YS 110 FZ and both it and the 17 X 4W seem to rev and pull equally well. As Raideron said you gotta watch the wide open throttle with the 17 X 4W - - the 16.5 X 5W seems to load it up a little more alll over the powerband and the prop doesn't "rip" quite as bad as the 17 X 4W at speed.

I use the APC 16x6. At my elevation I can't pull the 16.5 x 5 and the 17x4W doesn't offer enough thrust to do nice Waterfalls. But, I use the 17x4W if I'm in a hovering mood. It's amazing how much easier it is to hover a plane with the 17x4W. It doesn't provide as much overall thrust which hurts in in some maneuvers but it provides the right kind of thrust for hovering. APC is the best.So...I guess you need two props. Unless you go to one of my special hybrid "sewn" props. That's the ultimate.
thanks

I have a APC 16.5 X 5W coming, I just had to give it a try, I also tried the 16X6... But
Man I love the sound of the YS with the 17x4W...... "SWEET" Hope that I don't fall in
love with it so much that I'll...............Turn... "SWEET" Into "SWEET DEATH"
Barry.... I love them props... But, I'm doing something wrong.... Mine keeps separating
