hey everyone, im building a .60 size gp extra 300. I am planning on using a supertigre G-2300. is that overkill? ive heard of people using the o.s 1.20. they are within a couple ounces of eachother. and the throttle stick does go in both directions. what do you guys think?

the stock area is 744, but i added and inch to the chord on the airlerons so its a little bit more than that. ive always used engines in the recomended range so thats why im having trouble guessing if this thing will be ok.

Not only are you going to make that plane a flying brick, you'll crash it because that SuperTicker won't keep running. Sell that thing immediately and drop in a Saito 100

I would say that the plane needs more than a 60 size, but do not know about the 2300. I had one with a Magnum 108 and it flew great, but was alittle heavy with that motor.

the super tigre runs great, if you break them in corectly they'll last forever. my father had one and didnt run it for 10 years, it started right up on the first try. but i do have an o.s 90 and will use that.
