Default DA-50 prop question

Quick question guys, what is the right prop for break-in for the DA-50?

Also, what is the best 3D prop for the DA-50? 23x8 or 24x8

Thanks!

I broke mine in on a cheap 22x8 pro-zinger.
Then switched to a 3w 23x8 and what a difference..it pulls the hill nicely.

I use a PT Models 22X8 CF prop for Breakin

I just switched to the PT models 23X8 since I can now rip the 22X8 going vertical on my GP Cap232. I have not flown it yet but on my other planes this same prop on a DA50 pulls like there isn't even a plane attached and is really quiet.

Troybuilt models sells these props. They are hollow CF and are very light. I used to use 3W and NX props on my Da's, these PT model props are Mezjlik clones and every bit as good.

Thanks for the replies. Well it looks like 22x8 is a good break in prop and the 23x8 is a good 3D prop. Everyone seems to agree on this so far.
Thanks

How's the spool up on the PT props? The spool up on my Mezjlik 23x8 is a little slower than I'd like (its a heavy prop). I have a 27x10 PT prop going on my DA-100, thing feels super light for its size. I hope it has a faster spool up than the Mezjliks

Shakes,

The spool up on the PT is pretty good. I can't do it right now but if you go over to the troybuiltmodels web site he lists the weights for each prop. I believethe 22X8 is something like 4 or 5 ounces. When he had the Mezjliks all listed there, the 22X8 was 6 or 7ozs

For 3D, I preferred the NX 23x8. The PT 23x8 was nice but spool/response was a little slower than I would have liked.

of the 4 or 5 props I have had (I try a different one when I get bored)..
the 3w 23x8 and the nx are great stump pullers.

I use Amsoil 100:1 mixed at 90:1 on my 2 DA50's and on my ZDZ50NG. No problems.
