Although I can't give you the exact measurement for the cg ( I'm in Iraq flying UAV's ), I can tell you a little about my experinece, and ask a few questions.

Do you have any of the literature or manuals that come with the plane?

What does it weigh?

What kind of flying do you want to do with it?

I have the Knife and TopCap. They both fly well, and are good at different things.
The Knife is an excellent hoverbatics trainer and flyer.
The TopCap is also a good hoverer, but excels in spins, tumbles and loms.

Both my planes are light. The TopCap I built out of contest wood, and it's a real nice performer.
If these planes get too heavy, it ruins some of the fun.

See if you can get your hands on some of the old videos that Morris put out.
I have them all.
Back in the day, I would call Morris Hobbies with a question or two, and Walter himself
would answer the phone. Ahh, those were the days.
I've spoken to Tony Ayer and Tom Striker on occasion too.

Anyway, enough of my rambling.
Tell me where you are with the plane, and we can take it from there_bob

5.5 inches.

If this is your first 3D profile, start at 5.0" and work back from there.
