A note for Funatana 40 owners....that are 2 or 3 years old.
I filled the tank the other day and it started dripping at the firewall.
Emptied it immediatly and removed the tank.
I had forgot its tubing and stopper were all plastic.
Tubing was ok but the pressure tube deformed a little. Curved right...not how it was!
The plastic compression washer on the back was C shaped. Tubes and steel bolt keeping it from folding up on itself but still away from the rubber everywhere but at the bolt.
Thus the leak....
If you have this plane you might want to check this. Might have been going on a while and did not notice as it usually has a cowl on.
Off that day. I am sure once the fuel got lower than the tubes it had an air leak if it was going on and my .72 engine has had problems.
Another thread here!!
Replaced mine with all metal parts I had on hand. Problem fixed.

The article link below also recommends changing the tank stopper. H9 stock kit not up to the task. Good review of the F40 though.
