funtana 40S Balance Point
hi
yes i am a bit of a gumby, hence this probably obvious question.
I am balancing a Hangar 9 Funtana 40S. The instructions give a range but say that it is from the "leading edge of the wing as measured on the fuselage".
This particular plane has the centre section of the wing recessed... ie, when you bolt the wing onto the plane, the leading edge of the wing protrudes further forward than the cutout for the wing saddle...
What i want to know is, do i measure the CG from the saddle cutout on the fuselage, or from the actual leading edge of the wing?
I hope i have described this clearly enough...
thanks
Mike
