Hi, I have been flying RC airplanes for about 2 1/2 months now (flying every weekend.) I recently got the Twist 40 with a really nice setup (OS .46 AX S3001 Servos a 6.0v 1650mAh batt, and an 8 channel Rx) And plan to maiden it this weekend. I know this isn't the best second plane, but it was on sale for 85 dollars so I had to. I think I am really going to like 3D so thats why this post is on this forum. I know I am thinking ahead here, but my question to you is "What plane next?"
So far 4 planes have caught my eye, 3 of them are meant for 3D, the other one was recommended as an excellent over-all plane. (Keep in mind this will be for next summer with lits of sim time over the winter)
If you think that these planes are very ill-suited for me, would you mind suggesting one that would suit my wants/needs?
Thanks for your help
Jack

Well, I will have a profile by then, the Sig Fazer, I am planning on building it over the winter. I know that it's not a "3D specific" plane, and I am not into the profiles as much as I am the full fuselage
So thats why I had those 4 picked out

Hi RC Jack,
Take a serious Look at the Tower " Uproar" Very fast and easy building plane. It has a full fuse which I like over the profile type. I also have a Sig Fazer which is a good plane, but I think between the fuse vs. profile and the radio install, the "Uproar is better" I have had both for over 3 yrs each and I am building my second "Uproar" right now making some mods to it. I have won several club Fun Flys with the "Uproar" The climb and glide for one- I held a club record for 15 sec burn and got a 2 minute 25 second glide. Just check it out. The price is fantastic and with a OS Max .46 it will be a good combo -you will love it.

Good luck

the extra 330 by fliton is my favorite airplane and has been for 210+ flights. it really is a classic and i think everyone should own it. the performance is unreal! im leaning towards their new Inspire 60, which Mike EAst is doing a good build thread on. but yes, the Extra 330 should be in your list of what to possibly get!!!!
