Default Hacker A20-20L enough power to hover Mini Ultra Stick??

Hi,

Heard great things about the Hacker A20-20L. I have a Mini Ultra Stick and wonder if this motor is able to hover the MUS and what size prop to get? If not, is there any motor out there are powerful enought to hover MUS? And what size prop?

I have one with the park 480 and it is unlimited. It will pull out of a hover with way more power than it needs.. Not that I can hover but I try!! LOL
The prop I am running is the 11.3.8 Slow fly. I have been told that the prop is to weak. I have been running it for over 6 months. Same prop..

I have a 20-20 on a 23 oz Copperhead Extra and a 20 oz Airfoilz Yak. It easily overpowers each. With the right prop the 20-20 will get about 30 ozs of thrust drawing about 25 amps (not for more than 10 or so seconds before getting hot). Get a scale, weigh your plane, if it is less than say 26 ozs the 20-20 should be OK. Use a 10x5 to 11x6 prop.

20 20l is not enough. I would go with the A30 28s or park 480.

Actually, the Hacker A20-20L hovers my MUS easily. Lots of power.

Don't forget the Torque 22T/930. I've seen one fly with this motor and it was great. I'm going to put one in my Fliton Inspire Mini.

I've got the Hacker in a Mini-Inspire, and it will hover, and has decent pullout. Not rocket-like but it is defanitely adequate to the point where everyone wants to know "what you got in that thing". Enough to where I wouldn't want the weight penalty from going to the A30 motor.

It was a little better on my Fliton Mini-Extra but I think that one is a couple ounces less.
