Default RE: WHAT ENGINE

keep it light and go with the 1.10... It's plenty of engine for this plane.
Or - go with the Saito 1.25 (same power as YS 1.10) and pump it.

Saito 1.50/1.80,YS 1.10, or OS 1.20 AX . I had a Moki 1.35 in my ST,it was close to 10lbs. Be careful with elevator throw until you get very used to the plane or you won't have it for long, try just 15 deg. at first. I'm now very partial to the OS 1.20AX after using several 4 strokes, I have to wonder why I went that way, with the cost of engines & fuel. I've used the Saito 72,100,1.25 and 2 150's,they all ran well but not necessary for 3-D IMO. BTY, the SFG are really not needed unless you like to try very slow HA KE flight,I ended up just using the top SFG,use a washer and the nut to tighten it from the bottom. The ST gear allows good clearance for the 1.20 AX or SA 1.50,up to a 17" prop is good for either,I'm sure either would fit since the Moki did. The Saito or OS are easier to operate IMO,the YS's have been very troublesome around here.

I ran a OS 160 2 stroke and it was insane power, fit into the cowling real nice.
