I'm currently testing a range of the Volk props (from 12x4 through 20x10) and will publish the findings at rcmodelreviews.com soon but I can say the larger sizes are *very* good value and perform surprisingly well (excellently if the cost is factored in).

I have a Brillelli 40GT and I had a Xoar 20x8 prop on it. It turned 7000RPM with the Xoar 20x8 prop. I have since put on a Volk 20x8 prop and I am getting 6900RPM with that prop. The Xoar still has a little more put, but not that much. For the money these Volk props seem to ba a very good buy, but I would not use on in computistion events. For everyday flying they are the best buy you will find.

If the Volk was turning less rpm it means its putting more load on the engine which means the prop is biting harder/flexing less etc etc which is normally a good thing.
