I'm just finishing up my hanger 9 showtime 4D 90. i put a ys 110 four-stroke in it for a motor and i was wondering what propeller i should put in it that would be the most aerobatic. if anyone has any ideas id appreciate it. im thinking maybe an apc 15 x 4 wide
heres some pix...took em with my phone not as clear as a digi cam but still not to bad

That sounds too small for a YS110. I am going to use a APC 16x6 to start with and I also have a 17x4W to try later. THis is for 3D type of flying. If you are into more traditional aerobatics or pattern, then you could try a 15x8. Read through the main Showtime thread if you haven't already for more information.

the absolute best prop i ever had on my showtime was the master airscrew scimitar WOOD series 16x6. trust me you will not be disappointed. I have gotten 3 other people hooked on them since i started using them. I mean wood is best for 3d flying anyways.

I tried the APC 16.5x5W, and it's the highest thrust with the YS 110 engine I've experience so far. But it starts to get a little heavy, so the spool up response may lag a little.
Wood Scimitar is great for rapid response, but my experience with other larger wood Scimitar is that the thrust is not as great as APC. Well, depends what you are going for. I find APC 16x6 is a good compromise.
The new Scimitar S-2 nylon is also great.

I like the APC 16x6 the best for the mighty 110. I also use the 17x4W but it doesn't have as much thrust by about 1 lb. Also, spool up is much slower than the 16". But for some reason it's much easier to hover with. So...if I want to hover I use the 17x4W, but for everything else the 16x6 is better. thanks

Unfortunately thats what it takes sometimes, usually you can always find something better. Go with an apc 16x6 i like the wood scimitars better but if you mess up and break it yur outta luck the composite should last longer for ya.

I use the APC 17X4W.... Tried others, But I always go back because it does what I
can do very well and keeps the response Great... But I do use the APC 16X6 also...
Was also going to get some wood[8D]... But I have not yet, because I get what I
want from the above... The 17X4W does over rev the 110, Something to remember..

Your build is looking really good. I also have a showtime with a YS110 -- it has really good power-- I'm sure you will like it. Have you considered moving your tank back up against the wing tube? I put mine there and most of the guys with a YS in the showtime also put the tank there -- it makes the CG shift less as the fuel goes down. I'm sure, though that if you don't the Showtime will still fly well.

i moved the tank back a bit. not sure if it's positioned the way the other guys do it but i needed weight up front so i put the battery in the whole where the front of the tank was supposed to go and the tank is further back. Here are the pix

If you want to get just 1 prop, just know that Kyle uses Master Airscrew 16x6. If it's good enough for him, it should be good enough for me; only I am not good enough for it.
