Default Which servos to buy?

I am looking at getting some new servos for a MaxAir Velox (8 3/4 lb) with a Saito 1.50 on it. I am going to be getting Hitec servos but am just not sure which ones to use. I am trying to get some decent speed/torque without braking the bank. I will be needing 5 servos and wanted to keep the cost around 220.00 or so.
Here is what I was thinking of using.
1st option
4 625MGs for ales and eles 35.99 each at Troy Built
1 645MG for Rudder 35.99 at Troy built

2nd option
5 5625MGs at 45 each at Troy Built.

3rd option
5 5645MGs at 45 each at Troy Built.
These are a little slower but provide more torque.

I would appreciate any thoughts or insight on these or any other choices you might offer. These will be going into a new DX-7 setup

Thanks
Jeff

I'd do the 5625's. Speed is everything for 3D. The 131oz's of torque on 6V is more than enough for a 9lb plane.

Personally I like fast servos and on the DX7 you will notice that the connection you have to the plane feels loads faster. I went from a 10X to the DX7 on my Favorite 50cc Cap and had to lower the rates and add expo because it seemed I had way better control over the plane.

Thanks Bubba,
I was reading the stuff on Troy Built about the servos and it sounded like the guy who wrote it wasn't really inpressed with the 5625s and was leaning toward 5645s for this size plane. I feel like you speed is everything. I am anxious to hear what others think.
Thanks again
Jeff

I've had great luck with 5625's on ail&rudder,835's on elev halves. I had this combo on the X100 and it worked well for 3-D.I question whether you need more speed for 3-D,my .60 U-Can-Do is all Hitec HS635 Karbonite(6V for 85oz.)and I can do everything 3-D. On my X100, over-control was a problem in hovers& torque rolls,I tried using a lower rate to compensate & that helped. At one point I tried the high speed servos to see if it improved my 3-D flying but it didnt make any difference except drain my batteries a lot quicker.

Here is what a MoJo 65 looks like in a low KE!

buildflycrash,
Sorry,
I got the price of 45.00 her servo from Troy built and my hobby shop will match it. I am just wondering if the outlay of 225 for digis is worth it... I am thinking it probably is. Hope you like those servos in the Mojo. That Mojo has some flex Babeeee

Hey Scott. You will like the 5625's. They're good. I usually buy from a Cdn supplier and for some reason they always have 5645's and the 5625's are on back order. I have more 5645's because of this but I really like the 5625's. I bet they isn't one guy on 50 that tell the difference when the planes in the air anyways.
