A wile back I picked up a used Aeroworks Edge 540, 27% (I think??) The guy that sold it to me said it was a 1/4 scale but I can’t find one of that size in the Aeroworks catalogue.
It has a SuperTigre 2500 in it.
Would this combo be decent for 3d hovering and stuff?
Any tips?

The airframe (edge) is generally a good 3d plane. The big glow engine may not be enough power to 3d however. do you know how much it weighs?

No, not right now. All of the airplanes stay at my dads place. I guess i should have waited till I could give more info. Ill go over their this weekend and figure out the weight an what type of servos it has, ect...
It is very powerful though, one of our fastest planes for sure. I don’t know what the previous owner used it for but it looks like it might be set up for 3d.
