Since you will not be using it for a while, I suggest that you do not buy anything now. You may change your mind/opinion over the next twelve months and there is always new stuff coming out. Just track some of the more popular designs such as UltraRC GIles and Katanga, some of the Great Planes offerings (Cap, Ultimate, YaK) etc. See what some of the problems guys are having (snapping LG) etc. and what equipment they are using. Have fun and keep training!
