Default Hovering...simple question

Hi there,

I've been recently learning (or attempting to learn) how to hover in G3.5. This is what happens so far...

a) I get a nice level flight
b) I cut the throttle and pull back on the elevators putting the plane in a vertical position
c) I then increase throttle until the plane stops falling backwards
d) The plane usually hovers for about 3 seconds and then banks hard to the left.

During the hover, I'm usually using full right rudder to compensate. Does anyone have any tips of how to keep the plane from rolling over?

I'll see if I can post a quick FRAPS movie of what I'm doing.

add a bit of right thrust to the motor... and blip the throttle with the rudder

If you are able to play on multiplayer I could host up a server and teach you.

I dont like a rearward CG but I think I am 1 of the few. The stock electric katana in the expansion pack 2 is my favorite hovering plane. It hovers great once you learn the entry.

usually when you want to use rudder while hovering you have to blip the throttle to put more air over the control surfaces

I think it's TONS easier with a rearward CG.

I flew with him today on g3.5 and hes doing fine I think. It just takes practice sometimes we forget how long we have been flying to get to where we are now.

The upgraded g3.5 is great unlike when it first came out.
