Hey,
Flew my Ucd the other day for the first time and it flew great. I believe with a o.s 91 on it will do really good. I think you dont need to do everything else to make it do better. Only thing i would change is the cg. Plus more throw. Also I hate how they did the wing. Not many ribs. I dont like that.

Kevin,
If you check out the other fun fly type planes (profiles) as well as the 3D types (laser 3d etc) you will notice that they also have relatively few ribs. Don't worry, the covering adds a ton of strength and the camber of the wing also helps.
JL636,
My CG is at 6-1/8" and the airplane flies great. Nothing scary about it; the huge wing and large controls will take care of you. Definitely program more rudder on low rates. I took the book's advise, but I should have trusted my instinct.
By the way, this plane will pinwheel really well!

I just took an os91fx off of mine....and it WILL NOT go back on it.
I replaced it with a YS91 FZ.....WOWWWWWWW.Its a different plane all together. If you can afford it I would put the ys91 on it.
Some have had good success with a saito 100 as well. Both would be a good choice....On this plane a four stroke is the way to go...
next time you look at the UCD adds look at the 4 stroke muffler on the one thats hovering. The one the guy is holding one in his hands has a 2 stroke muffler....
